Follow the instructions below to sign up for Venmo:

1. Download one of our mobile apps: iOS & Android (Venmo does not have a Windows app)
2. Open the Venmo app
3. Choose your sign up method and create a secure password (between 8 and 32 characters long).
4. Verify your phone number and email address
5. Add and verify your bank account
6. In the top-right hand corner of the screen, tap the payment icon, which looks like a pen and pad with a money symbol. This is where you can send and request money.
7. Next, in the textbox, enter the username DENNIS-CHALTRAW. You’ll be asked to confirm that you’re choosing the right person, the code needed is “1848”. Please make sure you select “Pay a Friend” to avoid added fees.
8. Enter the amount of the event your team is attending.
9. Write a brief memo or description of who the payment is for. Please include the team name in this and a contact phone number. Then at the bottom right of your screen press public, and change that to private.
10. If everything looks good, tap “Pay” at the bottom of the page. You will then receive a confirmation email and the transaction will appear on your Venmo profile page, and in your feed.

Venmo is only available in the United States and only compatible with U.S. based bank accounts and phone numbers. You must also be able to send and receive SMS/text messages from short codes.
